 The partners of Home Counties Training Ltd have been passionate about transport from a young age, having grown up around the industry and following in the footsteps of their parents. From early exposure to vehicles, depots, and day-to-day operations, transport and logistics has always been more than just a career, it has been a lifelong interest and commitment.

Over the years, they have gained hands-on experience across multiple sectors, including road haulage, builders’ merchants, waste and recycling, and other areas of the transport and logistics industry. Working within these environments provided valuable insight into the real operational challenges businesses and drivers face every day, from compliance and safety to efficiency, training standards, and workforce development.

Through this experience, they recognised that something was missing. Too often, training was delivered as a basic requirement rather than a meaningful learning experience, with limited focus on real understanding, practical application, or long-term benefit to candidates and businesses.
